How do I sign into CinemaNow on my PS3 with an e-mail address?
My CinemaNow username is my e-mail address, which obviously includes the @ symbol. But when you log into CinemaNow on the PS3, there is no option to enter an @ symbol. CinemaNow.com won't let me change my username, either. What am I supposed to do? Am I missing something?
If you're using the on-screen keyboard, just tap R2 which acts like the Shift key on the keyboard. Or just get a USB keyboard so you can type normally.
Some users are unable to activate CinemaNow on PlayStation 3 because their email address is used as a username and there is no way to enter "@" or "." in a PS3 Username. A workaround is to activate your PS3 through a PC. At the Activation screen, click on Create Account then you will see Activate via PC option at the top and click it. You will be given a 5 digit code and instructed to go to to enter that code and activate CinemaNow on your PS3. Jon
