The first thing that comes to mind when you think of IFC isn't television. It may be on TV but, after all, it is still the Independent Film Channel. And yet, it has quietly continued to build a solid foundation of original series to really flesh out the network 'where all the cool movies go,' a foundation that includes recent, if modest, hits like The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret with David Cross and Portlandia with Fred Armisen.

The first look at one of two original comedy series premiering this summer just dropped with IFC releasing a clip from Scott Aukerman's Comedy Bang! Bang!, which shows the host trying to get Zach Galifianakis to picture a dog talking. Yep. The other original series airing this June, right after CB!B! in fact, is a game show parody called Bunk. The series is hosted by stand-up comedian Kurt Braunohler and features “a rotating line-up of comedian contestants performing absurd comedy challenges.” Here's the preview.

IFC has also released this clip fromBunk which shows the host force his three contestants to play a little game of 'shame that puppy.' Since Braunohler seems a little contemptuous about puppies in general and their apparent belief that puppy shit don't stink (and he's right, it does stink, like 'puppy shit'), maybe he's taking out a little personal vendetta against our canine companions. Actually, one of Braunohler's claims to fame are his World Wild of Animals bits on Funny or Die so animal humour might be pretty common on Bunk. And to be fair, this clip is hilarious. Now, shame that puppy!

'Tick, tock, my friend.'

Bunk premieres on Friday, June 8 at 10:30 p.m. ET on IFC. It is 'hosted' by stand up comedian and animal expert Kurt Braunohler.

Each formed person should love and understand art – the literature, painting, music, cinema. There are people who equally love books, musik , pictures, an opera, films etc. I cannot tell that I concern different displays of art equally ardently. At present priority for me is cinema. The cinema is a surprising art. The cinema is likely the lung for perception and the understanding, the most accessible art. The cinema is a fast art. If to read the book, week film viewing occupies a maximum of hour three is necessary to the average person a minimum.
