Which inner-city World Series would be the biggest ratings draw on television?
The Yankees and Mets had one ten years ago and it wasn't a ratings draw at all. We've seen the A's and Giants have one and it was a really low rated World Series. If the Dodgers and Angels have one NOBODY but California residents would care. But my feeling is that an all Chicago World Series would be a huge ratings hit shall the Cubs and White Sox ever get there together. No one has bad things to say about Chicago and nobody really hates those teams. It would be a huge hit in my eyes.
Well, unless Cubs go to the World Series at least, then that wont happen, so Im gonna say it will be either Freeway Series or Subway Series
Since the Yankees and the Mets have the most fans worldwide. I would think those two teams in the World Series would draw the most ratings. It wouldnt really make sense for teams like Rangers vs Astros, Giants vs Angels, Cubs vs White Sox, Athletics vs Giants which have much fewer fans to have higher ratings than if the Yankees and Mets were in it.
I think an all Chicago World Series would get huge rankings. Any World Series with the Cubs in it (a chance to win it for the first time in a century) would attract high ratings. And then after the series, one side of Chicago will be up in flames.
I think a Cubs-White Sox World Series would have better ratings. The fact that the Cubs haven't had a title since 1908 and no league championship since 1945 would draw a big TV audience.

to be fair for the a's/giants world series, there was a goddamn earthquake that took out nearly half the city, but yea an all chicago world series would get a huge draw
Since im a dodger fan i think it would be AWESOME too see a freeway series.
I agree with everyone who said Chicago. I would love to see those two teams in the World Series and I'm not even from Chicago.
I think an All-Chicago World Series would be a big hit, but since I'm an Angels fan I'd love for a Freeway World Series. But the only problem would be that California, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico would be interested.
