Ematic 102VIDR Mp3 Player Video Question?
Hi- Does anyone know how to put videos from you tube on this Mp3 Player? I was helped a little a by support from ematic.us The person suggested an application to help me download videos from you tube so I could then use the CD that came with my unit so I could then convert the videos to put them on my Ematic 102VIDR MP3 Player. I got that information through multiple emails from ematic support last week, but haven’t heard back in a week from my latest email question/problem with the download/converting process. This is the information I sent via email to Ematic support last week but no replies yet. I have resent the email to them everyday. They do reply back with the automatic email stating that they have received my email, and will be answered in order of date, etc. of all messages received and should be answered within 1 business day but nothing. Any suggestion? Last Wednesday was able to download real player on my computer. and downloaded the video I wanted from you tube and they are on my computer under my documents and then under videos. When I opened the application for MTV video Converter, and selected input video, then selected the video from the folder it is in, it first shows all files under certain formats, the videos I want only appear under all files, but it won’t convert. It says Load Video Failed. I select ok and it says to install codecs. I have installed the codec real_alternative, and other codec through the website given with each codec. Then I try to convert the video again, and it gives me the same message again. What am I doing wrong? what do I need to do in order to convert these videos so I can put them on my MP3 Player. The one video on you tube shows Turning Pointe Austism Foundation-Creating a Future.mp4 for the title but when I open the MTV Video Converter program and select input video and select the video it comes up as .mp42 what does that mean? How do I know what format I am downloading these videos in whether .mp4 or the other one you suggested? Is there something else/another screen I need to go to before downloading these videos. Is there another downloader program I can try? Email me as soon as possible at jszaradowski@juno.com. I do know that i have to download the video first. The person from ematic suggested to download the videos in .mp4 or another I can't remember that format. How do I know what format I am downloading the videos in when i click the download in upper right corner of video? I then have to use the CD that came with my mp3Player to convert the videos because only videos in MTV format can be placed on the MP3 Player. What if I tried the you tube downloader? Might that work since I was having problems converting videos downloaded with real Player?
If your player have a small screen (1.5 or 1.8) you should try to convert it to AMV format (I added the link here for an open source version of it.). This is only me guessing, but it might be worth your while to give it a go.
